Thank you for your interest in wanting to attend our Online Support Groups.

The groups are held virtually at the moment. We require that a new participant first attend our Newcomers Group on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. Newcomers Groups are held on alternating Wednesday so please check our online schedule for the Next Newcomers Group.  Please fill out the form below and a link for our Newcomers Group will be sent to you  24-48hrs before the Next Newcomers Group.

Please do not register now unless you plan on attending the next Newcomers Group per the schedule.  If you are planning on attending at a future date please don’t register until 7 days before the date you will attend the Newcomers Group.

After you have completed the Newcomers Group, a second link will be sent to you immediately following the group. The second link is your permanent link and will provide you with unlimited access to your Diagnosis Support Group.

  • Treat each other with kindness and compassion. Most of us are feeling vulnerable.

  • Respect the opinions and experiences of others as we want them to respect ours.

  • Don’t monopolize. We are generous in the sharing process.

  • Don’t judge. Instead, we try to put ourselves in the other person’s shoes.

  • Are patient. Each of us is trying to do the best we can at a given moment.

  • Are good listeners. We all want to feel heard.
  • Don’t tell someone else what to do. We Let others come to their own conclusions.

  • Don’t give advice. What is helpful is speaking from our own experiences.

  • Maintain confidences so that each of us feels completely safe to share.

  • Understand that the recovery process is unique and personal for each of us.

  • Maintain an environment that is hopeful and optimistic. If we don’t have hope, we stop trying.
