Does cultural sensitivity matter in mental health? Do microaggressions mess with your mood? Are you an advocate, ally, or accomplice?

Get to the bottom of it all by joining the Mood Disorders Support Group of New York for a workshop led by Sheena Daree Miller, DEI practitioner, writer, Columbia University doctoral candidate, and faculty development specialist at The New School.

Sheena Daree (Duh – Ree) Miller is a lifelong learner, writer, and diversity, equity, and inclusion practitioner based in New York. As a faculty development specialist at The New School, she supports instructors in the creation of inclusive learning environments.

Sheena also serves as a diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant to various organizations and has written about equity in the workplace and career development for idealist.org.

Sheena is an alumni of The New School’s MFA program in Creative Writing and an incoming Provost Diversity Fellow and doctoral student at Columbia University’s School of Journalism—her primary research interests lie in race, comedy, and social movements.
